our mission

our vision

We envision a cheer community where every athlete grows in confidence, leadership, and pride. Our program equips young people with the skills, values, and character to succeed in high school cheer, college programs, and beyond.

our core values

Spirit · Confidence · Unity · Leadership

Osceola Cheer maintains a unified K–12 program that builds school spirit, elevates the game‑day experience, and proudly represents our community at athletic, campus, and local events. We support our athletes, motivate fan engagement, and model sportsmanship in everything we do.

Cheer began in 1898 at the University of Minnesota, where the first all‑male cheer team led crowds with spirit and strength. When men left for World War I, women stepped in and reshaped the sport. They brought rhythm, precision, and performance that elevated cheer into true athleticism. That evolution laid the foundation for the dynamic, powerful sport we know today.

The Heart of What We Do. To cheer is to lift others up with energy, encouragement, and spirit. It’s using your voice, presence, and positivity to motivate a team, ignite a crowd, and create moments of unity.

Athletic. Technical. Team-Driven. Cheer is an athletic team sport that blends strength, precision, performance, and leadership to elevate school spirit.
